CROFTON, Neb. (KTIV) - During a special mail-in election, voters in the Crofton Community School District decided on a $5.9 million bond measure.
The district is seeking that money to add classrooms and ADA-compliant restrooms to the elementary school, as well as make additional upgrades to the elementary and high school buildings.
Unofficial records show voters approving that bond by a vote of 573 to 292. Voters in Knox County voted 403-191 in favor, while voters in Cedar County voted yes by a margin of 170-101.
The Knox County Election Commissioner says canvassing to confirm those totals will take place next Wednesday, September 17th.
