CHEYENNE — A local woman pleaded guilty Monday to six charges, including theft, witness intimidation, terroristic threats and interference with a peace officer.

Melinda Hurt, 31, changed her pleas to guilty in Laramie County District Court to several charges in three different cases, including charges that she arranged for a friend to call in a bomb threat to the court, with the intent to interfere with Hurt’s trial last September.

In addition to her change of plea, Hurt admitted to two instances of breaking the rules of her probation.

Per the plea agreement, Hurt pleaded guilty to all charges, and the state will recommend a sentence of three to five years in prison for each charge, to be served concurrently.
