CATO, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A woman watched the ICE raid unfold outside a Cato factory on September 4. That was also the last time she saw her husband, who was taken away by agents.

"I couldn't get to him. I couldn't give him a hug; they wouldn't let me hug him or nothing," she said.

She said her husband, Eddie, was in the process of getting his legal status.

They both work at the factory that was raided. She said she was outside on her break when ICE agents showed up. She said her husband was then deported back to Guatemala.

"I couldn't leave my husband in there," she said. "I have children with him; he's been here for 20 years."

She married her husband in 2014. She said the raid was the last time she and her two kids saw him before she said he was deported to Guatemala.
