TIGARD, Ore. — The mayor of Tigard has resigned, effective immediately, according to a lengthy statement posted on her website.

In that post, former mayor Heidi Lueb cited multiple issues, particularly conflicting dynamics within the city government between herself, other councilors and city staff.

Lueb said the issues began after she reported another city councilor in April for "for crossing a line by asking me on my personal phone how much I paid another councilor to say something nice about me during the April 8, 2025, city council meeting," after which an investigation involving complaints against Lueb herself was opened, she said.
