Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. , after an offseason filled with hype of him potentially settling in as the Broncos clear WR2, had a massively disappointing day in Week 1, catching just three of his four targets for a paltry 12 receiving yards.

Mims was essentially a non-factor in Denver's passing game. To make matters worse, he muffed a punt, turning the ball back over to the opposing team, and had to be bailed out by his defense. Mims' potential to have a big role in the offense seems to be fading.
