A 23-year-old has been charged with high range drink driving after crashing a car into a barrier off a major road.
About 4am on Sunday, September 7, police were called to Henry Parkes Way , Manildra, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Central West Police District arrived to find a Subaru Outback had crashed into a barrier.
The driver - a 23 year old man - was uninjured and was subjected to a roadside breath test which allegedly returned a positive result.
He was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station where he underwent a secondary breath analysis and returned a reading of 0.173.
The man was charged with driving with a high range PCA and his licence was suspended.
He will appear before Parkes Local Court on Thursday, October 23.
