SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Dozens gathered in Savannah to support local libraries during a special week for Savannah Tuesday night.
Sips at the Station's local fundraiser was focused on the Live Oak Public Library System Tuesday, with attendees learning about their services and expansion plans. Organizers moved the event date up by one week to celebrate the nine days of 912.
The crowd at Ardsley Station included Savannah Mayor Van Johnson and WSAV's Tina Tyus-Shaw and Ben Senger.
Organizers also brought the raffle back again, with 100% of the proceeds from entry and raffle sales going directly to the library system.
912 Day festivities will wrap up on Sept. 12.
