LINCOLN, Neb. —
Nebraska tight end Luke Lindenmeyer might have had the best night of his life on Saturday.
He scored his first career touchdown, and he dropped to one knee, after the Huskers' 68-0 victory over the Zips, to propose to his girlfriend.
"I didn't think the whole team was going to stop. I didn't really tell the whole team, I just told a couple of guys and then Coach Rhule said something about it yesterday and then the whole team knew and they we're standing there, it was just awesome," Lindenmeyer said.
