The Chicago Cubs have become notorious for sitting guys on the bench when they should instead be on the injured list.

It happened again over the weekend with superstar right fielder Kyle Tucker. Tucker was injured last Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves and has not appeared in the lineup since.

Chicago waited until a week later to place Tucker on the 10-day injured list. The stint was luckily backdated to Saturday, meaning Tucker is eligible to return from the injured list a week from Tuesday.

It is frustrating for many Cubs fans because of the young players like Owen Caissie and Moises Ballesteros that could've been given an opportunity to play in the absence of Tucker. Instead, Chicago practically played its weekend series against the Washington Nationals -- a series that it lost --
