This offseason has been filled with speculation about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s long-term future with the Milwaukee Bucks. In an effort to strengthen his ties to the team, the Bucks even re-signed his brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

Despite the chatter, Giannis has shifted his entire focus to EuroBasket 2025. Greek National Team head coach Vassilis Spanoulis reassured fans that Giannis would have no restrictions heading into the tournament.

That faith has already shown results, as Greece defeated Lithuania 87-76 in the quarterfinals. After the win, Giannis’ leadership was on full display. In a huddle, he reminded his teammates not to lose focus just because of one victory.

“We didn’t win anything. Another game, okay?” Giannis said.
