Harrowing details of the moment self-proclaimed sovereign citizen Dezi Freeman allegedly gunned down two police officers have been revealed.

Senior Constable Vadim de Waart-Hottart and Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson were shot in cold blood on August 26 at a Porepunkah property, allegedly by Freeman, who remains at large.

They were among 10 officers who attended the home to execute a search warrant linked to allegations that Freeman sexually assaulted a minor.

As the manhunt stretches into its 16th day, a screenshot from a video has emerged showing the unsettling moments police confronted Freeman as he barricaded himself inside a bus on his property with his wife, Mali, and their two-year-old son.
