SALISBURY — Salisbury’s boys soccer team made an exciting return to South Piedmont Conference action on Tuesday with a 6-3 win against Robinson at Ludwig Stadium.

The Hornets haven’t been in the SPC since the 1992-93 school year. The Hornets and South Rowan are 4As. The rest of the league is 5A.

Lucas Webb headed in a corner from Kevin Reyes for the go-ahead goal, Fletcher Busby and Abdul Eliwa scored to give the Hornets (5-0-3, 1-0) a 3-0 halftime lead.

Robinson (2-5, 0-1) made things interesting with a two-goal flurry in less than a minute to get back to 3-2, but Eliwa answered with a goal that put the Hornets back in oontrol.
