Bali has been rocked by unusual and deadly flooding as heavy rains inundate homes, major roads and force large evacuations.

At least six people have been killed, according to figures by Denpasar's search and rescue agency and Indonesia's national disaster agency.

The heavy rains across two days have caused significant flooding across five cities in Bali, including Denpasar, with evacuations taking place even in the tourist hotspot of Kuta.

Rescue agencies say several people are still missing in the flooding, with around 200 rescuers working through low-lying areas.
