Skies will stay cloudy again on Wednesday, with patchy morning sprinkles and mist. Winds stay gusty at times peaking close to 20 mph inland, up to 25 mph along the coast from the northeast.

Looking from late week into the weekend, a stationary front will loiter offshore, but rain chances will stay slim. Weak lows moving along the boundary may bring the chance for a few showers near the Crystal Coast and Outer Banks, with inland areas staying mostly dry.

The weekend will bring highs around 80° with overnights dipping to around 60° under mostly sunny skies. The coast will see some clouds at times, but rain chances stay slim.
