Ashley teaches 6th-grade science at Chicod School.

An ECU graduate, Ashley has been teaching in the East for more than 25 years, including in Chatham, Wayne, Greene, and Pitt counties.

Ashley credits her sister for one of the reasons she chose teaching. She says her sister was just beginning her career in education when Ashley decided to take an Introduction to Education class, which solidified her love and passion for the field.
