DUP’s Sports Minister says criticism of Casement Park delays is ‘silly and unfair’

Northern Ireland’s Sports Minister Gordon Lyons says no more progress has been made on the building of a new Casement Park, insisting that the finance is still not available to move on with the project and adding that this is “a time of reflection for the GAA” in relation to where they go from here with the stadium.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph , the DUP man also claimed that he has had to deal with “nonsense” and “silly and unfair criticism” surrounding the Casement controversy.
