The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives alum was officially revealed as the leading lady of season 22 of The Bachelorette d uring a Sept. 10 appearance on Alex Cooper 's Call Her Daddy podcast.

The decision to have Taylor—who has never appeared on any Bachelor Nation show—step in as the star of the dating competition show marks a notable change for the franchise, which usually casts suitors from previous seasons of The Bachelor in the position. However, parent company Disney did pick from within their reality TV family, as the 31-year-old has starred on Hulu’s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives since 2024.
