A few more laws have been added to Gov. Matt Meyer’s legislative roster.

Huddled inside the Brandywine Hundred Fire Company near Wilmington, Meyer signed two bills into state law on Sept. 9 that support Delaware’s fire companies.

These new laws include expanding volunteer opportunities at local fire departments and requiring a certain amount of funds for funeral-related expenses for former volunteer emergency workers.
