Kilmarnock have confirmed that they’ll be making the move to a grass pitch at Rugby Park for the start of next season.
And they’re offering fans the chance to own a ‘virtual square of the pitch’.
In a vote held last year, SPFL Premiership clubs voted to ban plastic pitches from the start of the 2026/27 campaign, meaning the East Ayrshire outfit will be tearing up their artificial surface at the end of the current season.
Killie, Falkirk and Livingston currently all have plastic surfaces, with the newly promoted Bairns having been granted a year’s grace.
Kilmarnock will be making the switch for next term and revealed yesterday (Tuesday) that fans will be able to ‘pitch in’ by owning their own ‘virtual plot’ for a £10 donation.
