TCAPS: Goals aim to better serve disadvantaged students

TRAVERSE CITY — The goals for Traverse City Area Public Schools’ next strategic plan have been decided, with a special focus on economically disadvantaged students.

On Monday, the Board of Education approved the language of the five goals that will guide the district over the next five years – and most of them have objectives seeking better outcomes for low-income students.
