A coastal low approaching Massachusetts will bring cooler-than-normal temperatures and some light rainfall on Wednesday ahead of a dry and seasonably warm weekend.
Temperatures are expected to top out only in the 60s, with wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph possible, particularly over Cape Cod and the Islands.
"It will be a bit raw today," National Weather Service forecasters wrote.
Moisture should pierce through the dry air to bring rain in some parts of Massachusetts on Wednesday, with areas along the immediate south coast and the coastal plain expected to see some showers throughout the day.
Areas along the coast should see about a tenth of an inch of rain, while Cape Cod and the Islands could see closer to a quarter of an inch.
