Week 2 of the college football season featured just one ranked matchup.
That game at least included a Big Ten team, but the conference largely spent the week eviscerating schools from outside the power conferences. Only five teams in the league faced another Power Four opponent, which makes it tough to discern who is a true contender and whose early-season dominance could be a mirage.
