Tirso Ornelas lost a good chunk of the season to a bout of plantar fasciitis.

He’s on good footing now.

The 25-year-old outfielder hit his ninth homer Tuesday, helping Triple-A El Paso to a 15-7 win on Tuesday over visiting Albuquerque.

It was Ornelas’ fifth homer in 25 games since missing nearly two months with the foot injury. He entered the week hitting .253/.357/.495 since coming off the injured list and is hitting .285/.379/.452 on the season after driving in two runs on two hits Tuesday.

First baseman Trenton Brooks (.888 OPS) drove in three runs on two hits, including his ninth homer, and third baseman Marcos Castañon (1.470 OPS) drove in three runs on his third homer.

Right fielder Yonathan Perlaza (.893 OPS) and catcher Rodolfo Duran (.844 OPS) both had two hits.
