Traffic on the M5 has been stopped by a crash at the Devon-Somerset border.

The northbound carriageway between junctions 27 and 26 is being held.

There are reports of delays in the area.

Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident on M5 Northbound from J27 A361 (Tiverton) to J26 A38 (Wellington).Prior to 13:30 all traffic was held."

M5 traffic starts moving again

Queueing traffic due to earlier accident on M5 Northbound from J27 A361 ( Tiverton ) to J26 A38 (Wellington). Prior to 13:30 all traffic was held for just over 15 minutes to move the vehicles and to reopen all lanes.
