The Who The Song Is Over: North American Farewell Tour is billed as the last go-around for legendary ’60s mod-rockers The Who.

The tour features surviving members — singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend — with an expanded group of backing musicians. With a set list that runs 22-plus songs, the band is mainly focusing on the glory years leading up to the 1971 album Who’s Next? which many consider to be the group’s greatest collection of tunes.

At a recent Toronto performance the one track from the record that fans might have expected that was not performed was The Song Is Over.
