ST. LOUIS — A 16-year-old was being held by juvenile authorities Wednesday in the shooting death of a man last month in the Walnut Park West neighborhood.
The juvenile, whose name was not released, was arrested and in juvenile custody on a charge of first-degree murder.
Police said the victim, Corey Exum, 46, of St. Louis County, was found by officers Aug. 24. He had been shot behind a building in the 5000 block of Goodfellow Boulevard.
Exum died at the scene. Police have not provided a motive for the killing.
