Emmerdale star Oliver Farnworth has admitted the "net is closing in" for his murderous alter ego John Sugden. ‌

John has been causing chaos in the Dales since arriving in the village last year, killing Nate Robinson and holding Mackenzie Boyd captive. Recent dramatic scenes in the ITV soap saw John and his husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) plunge off a cliff after a tense showdown with Aaron's ex Robert (Ryan Hawley). ‌

Opening up on ITV's This Morning on Wednesday (September 10), Oliver dropped a hint about John's fate as he suggested the villain's story isn't over yet. ‌
