Several flavors of cheese are being recalled, because the products may be contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, according to a recall notice posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration .
The Middlefield Original Cheese Co-Op facility in Middlefield, Ohio, is recalling the following: one lot of Sunrise Creamery Dilly Pickle Monterey Jack Cheese with Dill Pickles in 6-ounce and 1.25-pound packages; one lot of Organic Gouda Cheese in 8-ounce packages; and specific lots of Mozzarella/Provolone Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, Pepper Jack Cheese, Swiss Cheese, and Monterey Jack Cheese packaged as 5-pound loaves or 5-pound shredded bags.
