One area in Michigan's Upper Peninsula saw more than 7 inches of rain Tuesday, Sept. 9, the National Weather Service said, and there were multiple reports of more than 4 inches.

According to precipitation reports from the NWS in Marquette, Amasa in the northwest UP, saw the most rain — 7.33 inches. Other areas, including Crystal Falls and Channing, received more than 4 inches of rain.
