Burlington, NJ – A 19-year-old Eastampton resident is facing multiple weapons charges after allegedly firing a handgun at a vehicle during a dispute last month in the New Yorkshire section of the city, prosecutors announced Wednesday.
Donte Anderson was arrested on Aug. 25 and remains in the Burlington County Jail after a Superior Court judge ordered him detained. He is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, along with counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a defaced firearm and possession of a large-capacity ammunition magazine.
The charges stem from an Aug. 14 incident near York and Clarkson streets, where investigators say Anderson fired about 10 rounds toward a sedan carrying people he had been arguing with. No
