When people think of Indio, they tend to think of beloved events like the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Indio International Tamale Festival and Stagecoach country music festival, but now the city has a new claim to fame.

The City of Festivals is now home to a Dolby Atmos-focused mixing facility — a first for the Coachella Valley. The business, Studio B, opened in April with city support, and is already drawing attention for its capabilities.
