A new poll that shows MAGA Republican Representative Andy Barr surging in Kentucky's U.S. Senate race has been refuted by partisan competitors—including Senator Mitch McConnell 's protege, former Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, whose campaign deemed the results fake.

"Daniel Cameron is dominating the field," Taylor Zanazzi, Cameron's campaign manager, told Newsweek via email on Wednesday. "Even Andy Barr's fake poll agrees."

The Keep America Great PAC, which conducted the poll, is listed in Federal Election Commission files as a participant in Barr's joint fundraising committee, alongside his official Andy Barr for Senate Inc. committee and the Building America's Republican Representation PAC.

Newsweek has contacted the Barr's campaign for comment via email.
