DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- A large number of Dothan Police officers are on the Dothan High School campus.
Dothan Police say a "suspicious" person jumped the campus fence Wednesday morning, and officers are attempting to find them.
Major Will Glover with the Dothan Police Department said no shots have been fired, but the school is on lockdown.
There is a significant police presence on the campus as officers attempt to find the person.
One parent called WDHN and reported that over 30 officers were searching the high school grounds.
Morris Slingluff Elementary School, just down the road from Dothan High School on Westgate Parkway, is also on soft lockdown as police search the area.
