KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. — Authorities arrested two more teens on Wednesday in connection with the deadly shooting at Avalon Fishing Pier on July 31 that killed 19-year-old Zane Hughes.

17-year-olds Zachary Rose and Kayden Lindsey were taken into custody and each held on a $750,000 secured bond. Rose is charged with felony aiding and abetting first-degree murder, while Lindsey faces a first-degree murder charge. Both have court dates set for September 23, 2025, and the next Grand Jury session in Dare County is scheduled for September 15, 2025.
