A substitute school employee admitted to exposing himself and performing lewd acts near a middle school while watching children, the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.

Kien Nguyen of Modesto was arrested and booked on charges including lewd and lascivious acts with a child, annoying or molesting a child and indecent exposure, the sheriff's office said.

At 9:51 a.m. on Sept. 5 near Creekside Middle School, the sheriff's office sent deputies to respond to a report of a suspicious person in a silver Toyota RAV4 near the campus. There, they approached 22-year-old Nguyen.
