Overcompensating will move on to its sophomore year on Prime Video .

The Amazon-owned streamer has renewed Overcompensating for a second season. The college-set comedy, created by and starring Benito Skinner , premiered in May to mostly positive reviews (including one from THR ). The show comes from A24, Amazon MGM Studios and Jonah Hill’s Strong Baby banner.

“I have been so overwhelmed by the insane response to the show, and feel so damn lucky to go back to Yates University with Amazon MGM Studios, A24, Strong Baby, and this legendary cast for season two,” Skinner said in a statement.
