The man accused of killing a woman and throwing her toddler in the Ohio River has been sentenced to life without parole after pleading guilty to murder charges.

Desaun Brown, 25, pleaded guilty in court Wednesday to two counts of aggravated murder for killing Nyteisha Lattimore and her 3-year-old son Nylo in December 2020. Judge Leah Dinkelacker accepted the plea, finding Brown guilty of two counts of aggravated murder. In exchange for the plea, the death penalty and other counts were dismissed, gross abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.
