LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Authorities in Lexington are looking for a suspect in connection with a late August shooting that left a man injured on West Short Street.
Around 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 29, officers with the Lexington Police Department (LPD) had gone to the 300 block of West Short Street in response to a shooting with a victim. When they arrived, a man was found who had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On Sept. 10, department officials announced that the suspect was identified as Jonathan Streete, 29. He has active warrants for first-degree assault and five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
Lexington law enforcement officials said not to approach Streete. Anyone with information about the August shooting is asked to call the L
