KALAMAZOO, MI — After opening eight restaurants in the Kalamazoo area years ago, Bret Feaster isn’t done.
Now, joined by other investors including his wife, he’s ordered a half dozen more.
Feaster, 39, who grew up near Kalamazoo, owns eight area Jimmy John’s locations.
His latest venture will bring six Paris Baguette eateries to West Michigan — the first two in Kalamazoo County and four others in the Grand Rapids area.
“You feel like you’re walking into a fancy cafe in Paris when you walk in,” he said about the international chain that boasts over 4,000 locations.
That feeling is part of what sold him on the idea in the first place.
