Former Rangers star Graham Roberts has revealed he is battling prostate cancer - with the Ibrox hero hoping to raise money via a fundraiser to treat the illness. ‌

Roberts, 66, spent two season with Gers between 1986 and 1988, scoring three goals in 69 appearances to help Graeme Souness' side to win both the league title and a Scottish League Cup. ‌

He arrived in Govan following a successful six year spell at Tottenham, where he won two FA Cups and the UEFA Cup in 1984. ‌

Prior to that, he started his career with minnows Dorchester Town and Weymouth before jumping into the professional game.

After leaving Spurs, he ex defender - who was capped six times at senior level by England - then joined London rivals Chelsea and was part of the side that lifted the Second Division title
