COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Columbia Police Department’s search for a missing woman last heard from two weeks ago is now being treated like a homicide investigation.
According to CPD, 56-year-old Angela Fuller was reported missing by a loved one after not hearing from her since Aug. 29.
The department said in a statement that it will continue conducting searches for Fuller, but that the investigation is shifting into one “similar to a homicide investigation.”
“According to Chief Holbrook, police have searched over 75 locations, vacant buildings and lots, in an effort to locate Ms. Fuller. Based on the amount of time that has passed since Ms. Fuller was last seen and evidence seized by investigators, we are investigating this incident in a manner similar to a homicide investigation,” CPD
