WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Officials have identified the 37-year-old man who was killed after crashing into a wall in West Warwick over the weekend.

The incident happened Sunday night at the intersection of Brookside Avenue and Crossen Street. Police said the driver, James Mitchell of West Warwick, later died at the hospital.

A witness told 12 News that Mitchell hit their car before crashing into the wall. Detectives are still investigating the crash.
