Sirens are sounding in Solon, putting eyes on the new leadership within the city’s emergency services departments – Fire Chief Shawn Toth, sworn into office on June 16, and Police Chief Courtenay Perkins, sworn into office Sept. 2.

With a combined 36 years of work in the city, Solon Mayor Eddy Kraus told the Cleveland Jewish News that he is thrilled to have new leadership in both of the city’s emergency service departments, and looks forward to seeing the fresh ideas and initiatives that they will bring to the table.
