The NCAA has permanently revoked the eligibility of three Division I men’s basketball players from Fresno State and San Jose State after an investigation found they bet on their own games, manipulated performance to influence outcomes, and shared information to aid sports betting.
The student-athletes — Mykell Robinson, Steven Vasquez, and Jalen Weaver — were released from their teams and are no longer enrolled at their schools, the NCAA said Wednesday.
Vasquez and Robinson were Fresno State roommates during the 2023-24 season before Vasquez transferred to San Jose State.
