Legendary has bought the movie rights to Alchemised, an upcoming dark fantasy by author SenLinYu (who is non-binary).

One source said that rights deal, an outright purchasing, exceeded $3 million. Another source said the deal is one of the highest sums for a book’s movie rights, not accounting for inflation.

‘Alchemised’ started out as ‘Manacled’, a Harry Potter fanfic about Hermione and Draco.
