ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Albuquerque Police Department's homicide unit is currently investigating an incident that took place in the Northeast Heights and resulted in a man being transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Officers responded to a call for a disturbance around 5:30 a.m., in the 1400 block of Monte Largo Dr., NE near Tramway Blvd and Indian School Road.

Upon arriving to the scene, officers located a man who was not conscious or breathing, but had no apparent injuries. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

APD's homicide unit is currently investigating this incident. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
