A student was stabbed during an altercation at a Boston high school on Wednesday, Boston Public Schools said.

Boston police said officers responded to 75 Malcolm X Blvd., which is Madison Park High School, at 12:04 p.m. for reports of a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed in a common hallway inside the school. Latest Forecast

"There was an altercation that occurred resulting in a student being stabbed," Boston Public Schools said in a written statement.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with a "with a non life-threatening injury," Boston Public Schools said.
