SARATOGA SPRINGS — Good things come to those who wait, and local metal fans saw their patience rewarded Tuesday night with the arrival of at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

First, fans of the band had to wait two decades for Pantera to reunite in 2023 after the deaths of founding members Vinnie Paul and "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott. Then, Pantera was scheduled to play July 28 at SPAC, but the show was postponed for six weeks following the death of heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne.
