The IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is looking for volunteers in Surprise to help low- to moderate-income families and individuals prepare their taxes.

VITA provides free tax return preparation services through a large network of short-term volunteers, who are not required to have prior tax preparation experience. Training will be provided.
