U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani and five other members of Congress met briefly with the media Friday to tout the work of a bipartisan caucus and its focus on combating Mexican cartels.

The Problem Solvers Caucus, created in 2017 as Donald Trump began his first term, met with a handful of media members in a dirt field near Swan Road and Golf Links. Ciscomani, two other Republicans and three Democrats spent about seven minutes taking questions following a meeting with U.S. Border Patrol at its facility near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The group then headed to Nogales to meet with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Media were not allowed at either event. ×
